Iceland
Night is the time to see auroras, and winter in Iceland means long nights. We met at the airport and dragged suitcases through the snow. We drove on roads slick with ice only to find the hot pot closed and the scenery cloaked in darkness. 20 km/hour felt like a race car. As usual, we packed too much in to too short of a trip.
Portraits without faces
Not every day feels amazing. Arm, gesture, filtered lens. We found ways around portraiture. Often this included our animals.
